I feel your pain!!!! Let me help you with your diagnosis:
you ran too hard, too long, too much, too soon, and too fast. Now you need to relax, recover, regroup, refocus, reorganize, and reconsider your running habits. Crying, whining, analyzing, and negotiating with God will NOT help you!!!! As our good friend and local P.A. has told us many times,"Ice and ibuprofen are your friends." BTW...it's best not to hang out with other runners during the LOOONNNGGG recovery period.....it'll just make you mad since all they talk about is running and how great it is!

"Cosmologists have deduced the precise composition of the universe at less than a trillionth of a trillionth of a second after the Big Bang, but medical science can’t tell me why my groin hurts when I run. Apparently this is too much to ask."

This is a question I have asked myself many times.
